AQUARIUM OF SALENTO
It is a public Aquarium created through the European cooperation project APREH (Interdisciplinary Aquaria for the PRomotion of Environment and History) which has established a sister structure on the Greek island of Kefalonia. It was created with the aim of making known the submerged heritage of the Mediterranean and the Salento coast, both from a naturalistic and archaeological point of view. The Aquarium offers the visitor an exceptional opportunity to meet the natural world. Crucial in environmental education, it is an extremely stimulating and fun place.
